It was 72° today, so I stopped by the Gardens this afternoon to take a look and see how things were doing. While most gardeners have yet to return their plots, some of the early birds have been hard at work. A few plots are already tilled, and new containers for raised bed gardening have been constructed. Mother Nature has also been hard at work, and all the gardens which include flowers will soon be full of color.
- A freshly tilled plot
- New gardening boxes for raised bed gardening
- More new gardening boxes for raised bed gardening
- An early onion crop growing in one plot
- Only one gardener working today
- Daffodils coming up strong
Gardeners are encouraged to come and clear their plots early, before the weeds take hold. As a reminder, all plots must be worked by May 15th.
